Yay! The summer weather has arrived after a very long winter! We certainly made the most of the colder weather here at McLean Animal Hospital. We had a wonderful Dental Awareness Months for our clients and patients earlier in the year. We of course still focus greatly on the oral care of our furry friends!
As Spring approached, a new Awareness Months arrived: Heartworm and Parasite Season! Dr.Sean Colyer hosted a great Parasite Talk for our clients. There is a lot to learn about all the pests out there that arrive with the warm weather. For all your pets that go outdoors, don’t forget their flea, tick, and parasite prevention! This prevention starts in May/June and continues monthly right through to November.
To celebrate this lovely weather and to thank all our amazing clients, McLean Animal Hospital will be hosting our Annual Open House BBQ on Saturday June 21 from 2pm-4pm! There will be a tasty BBQ, face painting, balloons, clinic tours, raffle prizes, and all the staff here to say a BIG THANK YOU to all our wonderful clients and community. We look forward to seeing you there, rain or shine! Everyone is welcome, including the four legged family members!
