Fall is here at McLean Animal Hospital

Fall is here, the leaves are changing and we are gearing down for winter, hopefully a little better than last year’s icy fiasco!

Here at McLean Animal Hospital, the arrival of the fall season means Senior Wellness months (October and November) are upon us. That means we have discounted our cost for blood work for your senior pet. We consider a pet a senior at the age of 7 for both cats and dogs.  We want to help keep you and your pet together for longer and one of the easiest ways to do this is to prevent disease and to catch it early when it occurs.  Senior wellness testing does both of these things.

We have so many exciting events taking place in the next few weeks at McLeans. Firstly our canine anxiety seminar at 7pm on Tuesday October 7th, this will take place at the clinic and will be put on by A Leg Up Training.  Secondly, we have a senior seminar happening on Tuesday November 4th at 7pm with none other than Dr. Sean Colyer and our technician Sarah.  They will be going over everything senior in order to help you help your fur kids live long healthy lives.  Thirdly, we have our Open House and Santa Photos on December 6th from 2-4pm, Santa will be here along with his sleigh and his elves to take pictures with your pets.

Have you heard about our OSCAR fund? OSCAR stands for Offering Subsidized Care for Animal Recovery.  This is a fund that is administered at the clinic level for pets who need us. We have been given the opportunity to donate $5 for every Google review we receive!  So if you’ve had a great experience here in the clinic and would like to tell the world about us, head over to our website www.mcleanvet.com and follow the Google review link in the top right. Every time someone reviews us, there will be $5 more to go towards pets in need.

Enjoy the season everyone, Thanksgiving is just around the corner!
